How does a week in Paris foraging for vintage clothes and antiques sound ? Not to mention galleries, museums, good food, wine and good company. Followed up by a week in Avignon relaxing in Provence amongst the lavender and savouring all that the region has to offer.
We are taking expressions of interest for a 2 week tour personally organised and escorted by Ashby House Interiors and in small groups of about 8. French antique and vintage furniture handpicked from Paris and regional France, particularly Provence, is complemented by beautiful accessories and French inspired homewares in our unique and beautiful store.
Ashby House Interiors prides itself in selling genuine pieces and can guarantee authenticity because we personally select all of the stock. The stock ranges in age from early 1800s to the 1940’s. They are elegant but unpretentious pieces, intended to be used and enjoyed every day for years to come.
The “Life of Lidia” label is featured how and is an extensive range of vintage clothing ranging from casual to formal wear and wedding gowns and veils.
There is a large collection of artwork by local artists and some of them will do commission work as well.
For your convenience we have layby, we organise delivery, and we also have gift certificates and have just started a bridal registry service.

SUZANI HAS ARRIVED AT ASHBY HOUSE
Recently I was contacted by the lovely Gaby about stocking her beautiful and quirky furniture. I was a little reluctant at first because I didn't want it to compete with our beautiful French stock, but when I saw it I fell in love. It is very different to anything we've had before but fantastic with a touch of whimsy. There are chaise lounges, settees and ottomans in stunning Turkish Suzani fabric; pairs of chairs with a dog's front on one and the back end on the other; a giraffe chair, complete with tail; luxurious bedheads; mirrors etc. Treat yourself and come in for a look soon.
